In late 2009, the prestigious Christie’s Auction House approached MMB to help them launch a new, innovative event for Earth Day 2010 entitled Christie’s Green Auction. MMB’s role was to develop a positioning as well as new logo, tagline and creative collateral. The auction began with a black tie, star-studded live auction event followed by a month-long online auction featuring one-of-a-kind art items and unique experiences for bid. MMB developed the tagline “A bid to save the earth,” which became the unifying theme. In addition, MMB introduced their Noah Wild brand during the Christie’s Green Auction, partnering with Fabien Cousteau (Jacques Cousteau’s grandson) to create two unique Noah Wild Adventure bid lots that raised $40,000. All auction profits were donated to global, non-profit environmental organizations.
