Build My Sub App

Overview

Subway wanted to promote the 8 subs on their Every Day Value menu, and get consumers thinking about ways to customize their subs, to drive experimentation and repeat visits. MMB created the “Build My Sub” Facebook App that allows people to view 8 EDV subs and customize them using Subway’s breads, ingredients + sauces. Users then name their sub and post it to Facebook where visitors view and vote on their favorite by dubbing it “Yummy”. The subs with the most votes are dynamically posted to Subway Fresh Buzz.com to build awareness of the customization options and drive visitors to engage in the experience. The App generated a significant amount of custom created subs, votes, and Facebook “Likes”.
