Overview
The appeal of a Hollywood icon. A furniture store. Putting them together, MMB injected style into the Thomasville brand. Shedding the company’s “grandmother furniture” image, we created a marketing campaign around Humphrey Bogart’s appeal—his films, his life, and the decade he is most remembered for, the 1940s. We had a chance to make the old glamour relevant to today’s consumer. Our research and positioning work led to a complete redesign of the furniture line, referred to as “casual elegance.”
