The Boston Bruins and MMB Debut An All-New Art Gallery Hidden Inside the TD Garden
"The Players: A Bruins Portrait Series" debuted at the TD Garden this past week as part of Hidden Hallways, a new initiative where fans can discover unique and unexpected physical spaces within the Garden. "The Players" gallery exhibit features 14 Bruins player portraits, all shot in a Collodion camera style. Each piece includes a short story and expressive typography inspired by the unique personality of the players. All created by MMB.
Fans can experience this TD Garden Hidden Hallway art installation between Suites 550 and 551, where each piece is displayed in an art gallery style- complete with gilded frames, custom lighting, hardwood floors, classical music, passed hors d'oeuvres (during games) and a view that overlooks the on-ice action.
For a limited time during the Bruins and Celtics playoffs, Boston Garden Society members can pop into TD Garden Hidden Hallways free of charge before, during and after events to check out these unique areas. Fans hoping to see the exhibit on non-game days are invited to tour TD Garden Hidden Hallways as part of a tour offered by The Boston Sports Museum (from now through the end of summer).
In addition, Bruins player-autographed versions of the posters will be hidden throughout Boston as part of a scavenger hunt on social media.
